Welcome to Plant Talk & our new style!

We'd like to welcome everyone to Edible Landscaping's online forum 'Plant Talk'. We are providing this as a space for fellow gardeners to ask and answer each others questions, and we will offer our expertise wherever we can!

An unfortunate side effect of this is that we have recently managed to make ourselves visible on spammers radar and for a couple of days the forum was overwhelmed with spam advertisements. As a result new user accounts are no longer automatically approved and ready for use. The current process is for all new user accounts to be automatically created and disabled. As often as I can (which in the spring is sometimes only once a month) I will send all of those newly created users an email asking them about their interest in Plant Talk and then activate those accounts that respond. This process is something of a hassle but it has been effective at stopping the spam. If you have an urgent question or are just dying to post on Plant Talk please go ahead and create an account and then email me (forumsubscribe [~at~] ediblelandscaping.com) with your interest and your newly created username and I will activate the account.

We will not use any of the information you use to register on this forum to send you spam, or junk mail. We hate that stuff as much as you do! We also will not sell your information to a third party.

We would also like to welcome you to Plant Talk's new style 'Green Vision'. It's a little more in line with the theme of this forum than the old prosilver. Should you want to go back to prosilver you can change the style used for your account by clicking on 'user control panel' at the top of the page and click on the 'board preferences' tab and from there you can select 'my board style'. Prosilver is the old style but there are a couple of other styles that I added from which you can choose from.

Also, if there are any problems or dislikes with the new style please let me know.
