Coastal Peaches

Peaches, Dwarf vs. Semi Dwarf, Looking to plant afew peach trees with my neighbor here in SE Virginia. We have a 20' by
40' sunny well drained strip to do our planting. I've read a couple of negative comments about full dwarf root stock trees?
So present plan is (2) semi dwarf trees. Elberta, Red Baron any suggestions?

Red Baron not a good peach for humid areas, not a good choice. Elberta - OK- late not very sweet. Go with regular peach rootstock. Peaches are pruned so much each year they stay on the small side. Michael
