Sparkle is a very hardy, flavorful variety introduced 60 years ago but still is very popular because of its flavor. Excellent for jam and freezing.Fruit is red all the way through. Our hardiest selection. One of its parents, Fairfax, is still considered the best flavored strawberry. Space @ 1' circle or in 2' wide rows 12" to 18" apart. Zones 4-7.
