Easy to grow, the Blue Agave plant is rated zone 9-10. Agave is an excellent container plant. Give the plant lots of sun, warmth and and little water in good soil. Great enjoyed for a few years in a pot then in your landscape for a unique look. Height @5' Space @ 5' circle.

An excellent container plant for the patio or sun room. Agave is a low water consuming plant that is widely used for xeriscape (water saving) landscaping.

Products of Agave nectar are sold in food stores. It is a natural sweetener. Also, Tequila is made from the distilled sap from the hearts (pinas) of the Blue Agave.

The blue agave is native to Mexico. This succulent's leaves are arranged in a large rosette. The dark blue green leaves are handsome and striking. Also called Century plant because agave takes about 20 years to bloom. Hardy to 25 degrees F, they do not resist frost.
