Stella Sweet Cherry - Prunus avium Rainier Sweet Cherry - Prunus avium
Cherry Stella , Gold and Ranier Stella is a self-fertile large heart-shaped black sweet cherry. The natural spur growth reduces tree height under 15'. Ripens early, mid June-July. Pretty landscape plant. We have had only two reports that Stella has fruited in areas with only 500 hours of winter chill, such as Galveston, TX and St. Pete. FL. Space @ 10'-12' circle Zone 5-7

Cherry Ranier Fruit An outstanding, new, light colored yellow cherry with red blush. Flesh is very firm and finely textured with good quality and flavor. The yellow color outsmarts the birds as they go for the red cherries. Rainier has a distinct flavor superior to most varieties. Bears early, is bud hardy and resistant to cracking. Needs a pollinator. Sam sweet cherry blooms at the same time and is a good pollinator. Rainier is a low chill cherry. We had favorable reports in southern CA and Galveston, TX. We can not ship Cherries to CA. Space dwarf trees @ 10' circle. Space semi-dwarf trees 15' circle and standard cherry at a 20' circle. Zone 5-7

Sam Sweet Cherry - Prunus avium Black Gold Sweet Cherry - Prunus avium
Cherry Sam Sam is a black sweet cherry ripening early. Very crack resistant in wet weather. A favorite at the nursery. Good pollinator for Ranier. Canker resistant, which is very important for eastern conditions. More adapted than Bing sweet cherry to eastern conditions. Space dwarf at 10' circle, semi dwarf 15' circle and standards at 25' circles. Zones 5-7.

Cherry Black Gold Black Gold is a new self fertile, canker resistant, dark sweet cherry, introduced from the Cornell cherry breeding program. Large fruit resists cracking in wet weather. A cross between Stella and Gold, it resists late frost and blooms late. Space 10' circle for dwarf and 15' circle for semi dwarf and 25' circle for standard. Much more adapted to eastern US conditions than Bing cherry, which it is very similar to in fruit appearance. Zone 4-7.

White Gold Sweet Cherry - Prunus avium Sweet September Cherry - Prunus avium
Cherry White Gold White Gold Cherry is self-fertile. Its parents were Emperor Francis and the self fertile, red cherry, Stella. It is cold hardy in both mid-winter and spring frost situations. It is highly tolerant to cherry leaf spot and resistant to bacterial canker situations. White Gold yields heavily and resists cracking in rainy weather. A very good pollinator for other sweet cherries. Space 10' circle for dwarf on Krymst 5 or Giesla 5 rootstock 15' space for semi dwarf and 25' space on standard. Zone 4b-7.

Ulster Sweet Cherry - Prunus avium Kristin Sweet Cherry - Prunus avium
Ulster's fruits are large and just like the famous Bing Chery, but Ulster is highly resistant to cracking from rain at picking time. They are juicy, sweet, and very dark red. The tree is productive. Introduced in 1964 from Geneva, New York. Dwarf tree on Krymst 5 grows 8' to 12',space in 10' circle Choose another sweet cherry to pollinate Ulster. Zone 5-7.

Cherry Stella Sweet Cherry 2012 Ripens a bit latter than Kristin or Sam. An excellent pollinator for other varieties such as Kristin and Ulster. Ebony Pearl (tm) Sweet Cherry  
Cherry Ebony Pearl Ebony Pearl(NY 32) has remarkable size (9.5 row / 29.75mm). Ebony Pearl is an eye-pleasing, mid-season cherry that ripens 1 to 3 days before Bing. The fruit is dark red with good flavor and 21% sugar. Ebony Pearl is moderately firm and crunchy and has excellent crack resistance, averaging 4% cracking with 1 inch of rain in 2008. The stems are long and securely attached. The tree is spreading and vigorous with good resistance to canker. Zone 5 - 7.
