This extremely cold hardy ornamental mandarin is beautiful year round. Small oval red-orange fruit are on the tree at all times due to the everbearing characteristic of this tree. The fruit may be preserved whole or used for marmalade. Excellent as a container tree. When fully ripe the rind is sweet with a tart center. Makes a wonderful citrus-aid. "Calimasi" drinks are sold by vendors in the Philippines. Zone 9 - 10.
