Psidium speciesShrubby evergreen, spreading habit. Good for containers, or tropical zones. Self-fertile. Pretty two toned peeling bark. Large fruit has white flesh, similar taste and appearance to the red guava. Zone 10.

Guava Care Guide
Excellent for pots indoors or out. Evergreen. Bears early, fruit ripens year round. Maintenance low. Useful as hedges, screens, or specimen, extremely attractive plants. Plant in full sun, well drained soil pH 5-7. Not tolerant to salty soils. Likes soils rich in organic matter. Can prune guavas in a hedge to a formal shape. Roots are susceptible to root nematodes. There is a distinctive change in aroma and color when fruit is ripe.
