Pineapple Red Dwarf A unique houseplant in the north or a landscape specimen in tropical zones, Dwarf Red Pineapple boasts a array of red. Generally fruiting in the summer, it is self fruitful, ornamental, producing 3" red fruit above purple-bronze foliage. After the bloom, which is in the center of the plant, the fruit rises on a stalk, taking @ 3 months to ripen. Leaves are smooth and easy to handle. Zones 9-10.

Pineapple Smooth Cayanne Planted outside in tropical zones or as a patio/indoor plant in the north, Sugarloaf is a leading worldwide commercial variety. Self fruitful. Large pointed top, smooth leaf with serrated edge. Sugarloaf can can reach 10 pounds! White flesh. Even the core is edible. Also called Kona Sugarloaf. Excellent flavor, pretty plant and fruit. Fruit ripens but outside appearance is still green. Fruit looks mature and releases readily from stalk. Zones 9-10.
