The Korean Giant, also known as Olympic, is a very large, late-ripening pear with dark brown russet skin. This variety produces fruit of exceptional quality—sweet, firm, and juicy—and has an excellent shelf life, storing well in the refrigerator throughout the winter. It typically ripens in September. The tree is highly productive and disease-resistant. Mature height ranges from 12 to 15 feet. Hardy in Zones 4-9.
