🌱 Limited Guarantee Policy

1-Season Limited Guarantee (90 Days)

We offer a limited guarantee for one growing season (90 days) from the date of delivery or pick up. This guarantee applies to plants that are properly planted and cared for. However, we do not guarantee plants against conditions beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Frost damage
  • Winter kill
  • Drought

If you experience issues with a plant, please contact us promptly. We’re often able to help troubleshoot and resolve problems before they become serious.


No Guarantee on 2" Potted Plants

Our smallest size, the 2-inch potted plant, is not covered by our seasonal guarantee.

  • Fall planting of 2" pots, especially in zones north of 7b, carries added risk due to winter conditions.

  • These plants are best planted in spring or by experienced growers with proper cultivation techniques.


Important Fall Planting Notice

For colder climates:
If you're planting Figs, Persimmons, Pomegranates, Tea, or Feijoa in the fall, we strongly recommend avoiding gallon-sized or smaller plants until spring.

  • These marginally hardy plants perform best when planted in spring.
  • We do not guarantee fall-planted marginal plants.
  • Avoid storing them indoors unless you are experienced; results are often poor when overwintered inside or improperly stored.

To preserve your warranty:

  • Plant your trees soon after delivery.
  • If storing, do not allow roots to dry out.
  • Outdoor fall planting should be in a wind-protected site with 3" of mulch in a 3-foot circle, ideally applied between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

True-to-Name Guarantee (3 Years)

We guarantee our nursery stock to be true to name for up to three (3) years from the date of delivery.

  • If a plant proves untrue to name and we are notified before the end of its first fruiting season, we will either:

  • Replace that plant at no cost, or
  • Refund the portion of the purchase price (at our discretion).
    This constitutes full settlement for such errors.

Refunds, Returns, and Replacements

  • No cash refunds. Store credit only.
  • Shipping charges apply to replacement plants.
  • We reserve the right to request return of dead items before issuing replacements.
  • If your shipment arrives damaged, please call us immediately and retain all packaging so that a claim can be filed with the carrier (UPS or similar).
