Hardy Kiwi
We were the first nursery to sell Hardy Kiwis. The pictures speak for their productivity. We enjoy their sweet flavor from August till November. Hardy Kiwis ripen September-October here. In November some kiwis were not picked and they dried on the vine tasting like figs. Incredible! Many people prefer the flavor of Hardy Kiwi when compared with the popular fuzzy. Its sugar content is higher and the highly perfumed aroma alludes to a more concentrated array of flavors. Issai is the only one that is self-fertile. Be sure to order a male with the other varieties.
