aka Ananasnaya (Actinidia arguta)
Anna's grape-sized fruits hang in bunches on this vigorous and productive vine, spaced 15 feet apart. A great choice for beginners, it's easy to grow and highly productive. This variety, also known as Ananasnaya, produces medium-sized fruits of the arguta species (not to be confused with the kolomikta species, which has a similar name).
It ripens about three weeks later than the Dumbarton Oaks female variety. The vine is highly ornamental, with showy red leaf stems. A mate is required for fruiting, and the plant benefits from spur pruning throughout the growing season to promote earlier fruiting and greater productivity, while maintaining a bushy appearance. This variety is suitable for USDA hardiness zones 5-9.
