Prunus mexicana

Due to import restrictions we are unable to ship Plums to CA, WA, Europe... 

Native, single trunked, non-suckering tree, fragrant, showy white flowers. Leaves up to 5" long and 2" wide. Plums turn from yellow to mauve as they ripen July - September. Good fresh or preserves. 12-25' Zone 7-9 self fertile.

It is a monoecious species with perfect flowers ( each flower has both stamens and pistils). Bees are the principal pollinators, and can pollinate the flowers on the same plant. If the plants are self-fertile, fruit will result. However, two of my botanical colleagues believe that this is not the case
