Select Pawpaw seedlings are grown from superior parent varieties but are genetically unique, not true to type. Each seedling is an individual, offering some variation in fruit size, shape, and flavor. However, because the seed is collected from high-quality cultivars, these selections generally produce large fruit with good to excellent flavor, maintaining a strong genetic background.

Pawpaw is a North American native producing custard-like fruit with a rich, tropical flavor. Trees are hardy, adaptable, and well suited to naturalistic plantings or edible landscapes.

Two genetically different pawpaw trees are required for pollination and fruit set.

• Spacing: 6' apart for hedge-like planting, or 10'–14' circle for standalone trees
