Hollywood Plum is a high-yielding tree that ripens its fruit about a month later than All Red, typically in August. The fruit has beautiful purplish-red flesh, with a firm and juicy texture. It is also one of the most attractive purple-leaf plum trees, with a copper-colored hue to the purple leaves on a compact tree.
Mature Size:
Around 10' to 12' in height.
Pollination:
Pollinate with All Red, Methley, Bruce, or Stanley. Hollywood Plum is believed to be a cross between Japanese and European plums.
Zones:
Best suited for Zones 5-9.
