Prunus americana (American Plum)

A native small tree commonly found in the southeast, this branching shrub can reach up to 15 feet and produces red fruits. It is self-fertile and features showy white blooms with a heavenly fragrance. While it is susceptible to plum curculio damage, it thrives in USDA Hardiness Zones 5-9.
