Sambucus canadensis (Adams Elderberry)

Adams is a native elderberry variety known for its juicy, purple berries. These berries are excellent for making elixirs, pies, syrups, wine, and more. The plant is a heavy producer and ripens late in the season. It grows well in zones 3-9 and pollinates with other native elderberries. The flowers are in very large heads.
