Rubus spp. Apache (Plant Patent #11865)

Apache is an erect, thornless blackberry similar to Arapaho but with larger fruit and seeds, ripening 15 days later. It resists orange rust and produces sweet, flavorful berries when ripe. The plant is very productive and has a six-week ripening period.

Planting & Care:

  • Tip new canes at 42 inches during the growing season.

  • Space plants 5 feet apart in 5-foot wide rows.

  • For individual plants, space them in a 6-foot circle.

  • Recommended growing zones: 6-8.
