Mentha suaveolens (Apple Mint)
Apple Mint is one of our favorite herbs for drying and blends excellently with green or black tea. It is a vigorous grower, spreading like most mints. In addition to being a delightful tea herb, it serves as a valuable late-summer pollen source for many insects.
Hardiness Zones: 5-9
Apple Mint is ideal for filling in cultivated areas. At our nursery, we have it planted on a bank alongside rose hip roses.
