An early ripening yellow-fleshed peach valued for attractive red-blushed fruit, sweet flavor, and dependable production. Fruit is medium to large with firm yellow flesh and good balance of sweetness and acidity. Excellent for fresh eating, baking, and preserving. Blooms in spring with harvest beginning early in the peach season. Our owner has always thought this is one of the best tasting early peaches he has eaten.
Trees are vigorous and productive with an upright growth habit. Best grown in full sun with well-drained soil. Requires winter chill for reliable fruiting and benefits from annual pruning to maintain productivity.
