Indigocrisp™ (FL98-325) As the name implies, keeps crisp and dark after picking. A mid-season southern highbush blueberry developed and released by the University of Florida. It produces firm, crisp, dark blue berries with exceptional flavor, ideal for fresh eating, freezing, and baking. The bush is vigorous, productive, and compact, making it perfect for home gardens and small-scale plantings.
This variety thrives in full sun with planting beds made up of aged mulch suck as wood chips. Indigocrisp is self-fertile. Space plants 6 feet apart with 5' wide beds of organic matter. Wood chips, pine etc. Avoid rich soils, manures or compost when creating an optimal root habitat. . 4-5 feet tall. Suited for USDA zones 7–9, it is particularly well adapted to warmer climates while maintaining excellent berry quality. A southern highbush selection.
