Carya illinoinensis 'Kanza'
🚫 Due to import restrictions, we are unable to ship Pecan to CA.
An early-maturing pecan variety introduced from Texas, producing large nuts with an average yield of 69 pounds per tree. Kanza is grafted onto a hardy 160-day nut-maturing rootstock, which goes dormant sooner than southern rootstocks, making it reliably hardy in Zones 6 and 7. Locally favored for its lush, green foliage throughout summer and resistance to pecan scab. Begins producing in 3 to 4 years. Pollinates well with Major or Peruque.
