Punica granatum 'Kazake'
'Kazake' is one of the hardiest pomegranate varieties, alongside 'Salavatski', making it ideal for colder winter areas. Originally from Uzbekistan, this compact bush produces rosy-red to dull yellow fruit (depending on climate) with deep red arils. 'Kazake' features a closed calyx, which helps prevent fruit splitting.
