Red Silk is a compact, heavy-bearing pomegranate known for its rich flavor, deep red color, and subtle almond essence. Originally discovered and grown by a local family, it gained popularity and was later introduced into the University of Georgia variety trials at Ponder Farm in Tifton, GA. Zones: 8–9, Spacing: 8–10 ft circle, 
Mature Height: ~6 ft (compact form)
