Ribes odoratum (Clove Currant)

In the spring, Crandall is a stunning display of yellow, trumpet-shaped flowers. This striking ornamental shrub is commonly found in the finest gardens across Europe. Swallowtail butterflies are attracted to the blooms. Also known as Missouri Currant, the plant produces shiny black fruits with a unique, pleasant taste. Native to the region, it thrives in a 5-foot circular space. Hardy in Zones 4-7.
