Known for its excellent taste and texture, the grape has an edible thin skin, making it ideal for fresh consumption. It also shows promise for wine production.
The name 'Delicious' was suggested by Bob Paulish, past President of the Florida Grape Grower's Association, after visitors to his vineyard sampled the fruit. This cultivar is suited for USDA Zones 7-9.
