Honeyberry/Haskap
Honeyberries are among the first fruits to ripen in the season. Also called Edible Honeysuckle, or Haskap, these hardy shrubs are a unique member of the honeysuckle family, native to Eastern Siberia and extending into Japan. The small, raisin-shaped fruits are deep blue/purple, and exhibit a striking, sweet-tart flavor.
