Vaccinium ashei (Columbus)
Due to import restrictions, we are unable to ship Blueberries to California or Oregon.
Introduced in 2005 by NC State, Columbus is a southern-type blueberry known for its high yield and superior flavor. It’s sweeter than tangy and juicier than most varieties, with a berry size that's considered MONSTER. Columbus ripens a few days earlier than Powderblue and is resistant to rain-related cracking, making it highly resilient in various conditions. The berries have excellent keeping qualities, and the plant’s leaves turn bright red in the fall.
