Prolific Pawpaw
Asimina triloba – ‘Prolific’ Pawpaw
‘Prolific’ is an early-bearing pawpaw selection developed by renowned breeder Corwin Davis of Bellevue, Michigan in the mid-1980s. As its name suggests, this variety is known for its heavy production and the ability to come into bearing several years earlier than many other pawpaw varieties.
A reliable and vigorous tree, ‘Prolific’ produces delicious, tropical-flavored fruit typical of pawpaws, making it an excellent choice for both home growers and orchard plantings.
