Tennosui Asian Pear

Thought to be a cross between Tennessee pear and Hosui. Early ripening, bell shaped fruit remains crisp after being cut and is slow to oxidize. Shows resistance to fire blight. Ripens early to mid August. 400 chill hours. Since it is self fertile it may be our best fire blight resistant replacement for blight susceptible Hosui. When there is only space for one Asian pear this is it. Space 10' circle. Zones 5-8. Self-fertile.
