Rosa rugosa – ‘Snow Pavement’ (Schneekoppe)
Due to import restrictions, we are unable to ship Purple Pavement Rose to CA.
Snow Pavement, also known as Schneekoppe, is a compact rugosa rose valued for its continuous flowering, strong fragrance, and edible rose hips. The semi-double blooms are white with a soft lavender-pink blush and appear repeatedly throughout the growing season.
Following bloom, plants produce light red rose hips in summer and fall, adding ornamental interest and wildlife value. The hips are edible and can be used for teas, jellies, and preserves.
This is a dense, spreading shrub well suited for hedges, borders, and low-maintenance plantings. Rugosa roses are known for their toughness and adaptability in challenging coastal and urban conditions.
