Fairfax x Aberdeen - Sparkle Strawberry

Sparkle is a very hardy and flavorful strawberry variety that was introduced 60 years ago. It remains highly popular due to its exceptional flavor, making it excellent for jams and freezing. The fruit is red all the way through. Sparkle is one of our hardiest selections, with Fairfax, one of its parents, still considered one of the best-flavored strawberries. June bearing. Recommended planting space: 1' circle or in 2' wide rows, 12" to 18" apart. Suitable for Zones 4-7.
