Vitus aestivalis hybrid (Cynthiana, aka Norton)

Due to import restrictions we are unable to ship Grapes to California or Oregon.

The Norton grape features small to medium-sized clusters with firm, round, black berries. It is a natural hybrid of Vitus labrusca and Vitus aestivalis, and is commercially grown in Arkansas and Missouri. Known as the "Cabernet of the Ozarks" and the "organic wine grape," Norton produces a rich, medium to full-bodied red wine with a dry character similar to Cabernet Sauvignon, but with more spice. This grape thrives in USDA Hardiness Zones 4-8.
