Sambucus canadensis (Bob Gordon Elderberry)

The Bob Gordon Elderberry is a native variety from Missouri, known for its berries up to 1/4 inch in diameter. It is the leading variety used for juice production. Commercial cultivation involves cutting the plant to the ground in winter, allowing new canes to form flowers and fruit in the same season. This variety thrives in Zones 3-9.
