KSU Chappell Pawpaw (Asimina triloba)

KSU Chappell is the latest pawpaw introduction from Kentucky State University and is considered one of the fastest-growing and most productive varieties available. It bears similarities to the popular Shenandoah variety, producing extra-large, sweet fruits with a mild banana-pineapple flavor. The fruit contains a few medium-sized seeds and is known for its high yields and vigorous growth.
