Due to import restrictions, we are unable to ship Plums to CA, WA.

Also known as Cherokee Plum, Florida Sand Plum, and Sandhill Plum, Chickasaw Plum is a native plum species that was cultivated by Native Americans before European settlement. It produces clusters of small, fragrant flowers in spring before the leaves emerge, providing an early food source for pollinators.

The small, tart fruit changes from red to yellow as it ripens. The fruit is edible and especially useful for making jelly. Chickasaw Plum is also an excellent food source for wildlife.

The tree has a rounded form with slender, thorny branches. Although it can reach up to 25', it is most commonly found under 12'. Moderate growth rate, averaging 12–18" per year.

Self-fertile.
