Actinidia arguta (Geneva)
The Geneva kiwi is part of the Dr. Slate collection, originally discovered near Hedrick Hall at the Cornell Experiment Station in Geneva, New York. It has been a consistent producer at our nursery since 1990. The medium-sized, round, shouldered fruit ripens mid-season, between Dumbarton Oaks and Anna. This is a female kiwi, so be sure to order a male variety (listed below) for cross-pollination. Best suited for Zones 5-8.
