Pyrus communis – Harrow Delight Pear
Harrow Delight is an early-harvest, blush-red, sweet pear, ripening from late July to early August in Zone 7 (Virginia). It is a heavy producer, yielding medium to large fruit with a smooth texture. Similar to Bartlett but with exceptional fire blight resistance. Not self-fertile; requires a pollinator. Suitable for Zones 5-7.
