Lavandula angustifolia - Hidcote
Hidcote is one of the most popular and dependable English lavenders, prized for its deep purple flower spikes, compact growth habit, and strong fragrance. Blooming through summer, it attracts bees, butterflies, and other pollinators while adding beauty and fragrance to herb gardens, borders, and walkways. Excellent for fresh bouquets, dried arrangements, sachets, and culinary use.
This hardy perennial forms a neat, rounded mound of silvery-green foliage and performs best in full sun with well-drained soil. Once established, Hidcote is drought tolerant and easy to maintain.
