P.C.Atropurpurea' x P. salicina
Hollywood fruits abundantly, ripens a month or so later than All Red, usually in August here. Fruit has beautiful purplish-red flesh, firm and juicy texture. One of the prettiest purple-leaf plum trees with a copper colored cast to the purple leaves on a compact tree. Height around 10' to 12'. Pollinate with All Red, Methley, Bruce or Stanley. Seems to be a cross of Japanese and European plums. Zone 5-9.
