Malus spp. - Liberty Apple

Please Note: Due to import restrictions, we are unable to ship Apple to CA.

The Liberty Apple is a shiny, deep-red, crisp apple that ripens in late summer. Its color tends to lighten the further south it is grown. Notable for its resistance to scab, mildew, cedar apple rust, and fire blight, it is one of the most disease-resistant apples ever developed. This apple has a McIntosh-like aroma with a crisp, juicy flavor and excellent keeping qualities. Very productive, so it's recommended to maintain about 3 inches between each fruit. It is self-fertile and can be grown in dwarf, semi-dwarf, or standard sizes with spacing of 10', 15', and 20', respectively. Best suited for USDA Zones 4-7.
