'Major' is a heavy annual-bearing pecan variety known for its medium-sized, thin-shelled nuts that are easy to crack and have some of the best flavor among pecans. It thrives in Zones 6-8 and requires cross-pollination with Lakota, Oswego, Kanza, or Colby for optimal nut production.
