Vaccinium spp. — Trentberry
Trentberry is a southern‑type blueberry (sometimes described as a blueberry/wild‑huckleberry cross) selected in Pineville, Louisiana for its vigor, adaptability, and heavy production. Mature plants reach about 6 ft tall, producing large, glossy black berries roughly ½ inch in diameter. The fruiting period is extended and ornamental: red, green and black berries often appear together over a long season. Space plants in a 6–8 ft circle. Hardy in USDA Zones 6–10.
