Diospyros kaki – Miss Kim Asian Persimmon

A hardy, vigorous, dwarf-growing Asian persimmon that breaks bud a few days earlier than most other Asian varieties. Produces sweet, flavorful fruit that is best enjoyed when fully soft. Fruit begins ripening in early October and will continue to ripen on the tree into winter, extending the harvest season. Attractive glossy foliage develops excellent fall color before leaf drop.
Self-fertile and productive. Plant in full sun in well-drained soil. Space 10' circle.
