Lonicera caerulea edulis (Haskap) - Blue Velvet
A unique edible honeysuckle variety with attractive, velvet-like, greyish-green foliage and a broad, spreading habit. Blue Velvet produces tasty, large fruit and grows 3–4 feet tall and 5–6 feet wide. It blooms later than Berryblue and Bluebird varieties. Not self-fertile, so cross-pollination with Blue Moon or Blue Pacific is required.
