Cymbopogon citratus (Lemongrass)
Our instant tea plant—just steep a few blades in hot water and sweeten with honey for a refreshing drink. This tropical ornamental grass thrives indoors and is a staple in Thai cuisine, adding citrusy flavor to soups and curries. It is also the source of citral, the essential oil responsible for citronella’s lemony scent.
In Thailand, women traditionally crinkle a handful of lemongrass leaves into their bath water, believing it helps prevent wrinkles.
