Native American Purple Leaf Filberts (Hazelnut)
The Native American Purple Leaf Filberts are a purple form of the American Filbert. This deciduous shrub is a beautiful and edible addition to the yard, producing edible nuts and naturalizing in the landscape. Its deep wine-colored leaves are eye-catching, transitioning from red in spring and summer to greenish burgundy, and finally turning into an attractive bronze in the fall. Height: 6-8 feet. Suitable for Zones 4-8.
