Miss Kim Mulberry
Morus alba 'Miss Kim' – Miss Kim Mulberry
Miss Kim is a productive mulberry selection discovered growing and thriving in Georgia, where it demonstrated excellent adaptation to southern growing conditions. This vigorous tree produces abundant crops of large, flavorful fruit and has proven to be a reliable performer in warm, humid climates.
The sweet berries are excellent for fresh eating and can also be used in pies, jams, preserves, and other homemade treats. Trees typically begin bearing fruit within 2 to 3 years after planting and produce increasingly heavy crops as they mature.
Miss Kim is easy to grow and generally requires little maintenance once established. In Zone 7, trees are seldom troubled by significant pests or diseases. Plant in well-drained soil with at least five hours of direct sunlight for best growth and fruit production.
Mulberries are valued not only for their delicious fruit but also for their adaptability, vigor, and ability to produce crops with minimal care.
