Diospyros kaki – Saijo Persimmon

Due to import restrictions, we are unable to ship Persimmons to CA.

Saijo produces small, yellow-orange, conic-shaped fruit with an elegant, sweet flavor. The fruit has few seeds and does not tend to crack. Saijo has a good annual bearing tendency and is a reliable producer. The tree is vigorous, upright, and spreading.

Fruit is ripe and sweet when soft. Mid-season ripening.

Zone 6–9.
